Oriwo Boys High School is a proud public county institution in Kandiege Education Zone, Rachuonyo North Sub-County, Homa Bay County, Kenya. Founded in 1968, we have grown from a harambee school into a distinguished 7-stream institution with over 1,550 students.
Taken over by the Government in 1974, Oriwo Boys has stood the test of time โ continuously building on a foundation of academic excellence, strong discipline, and holistic student development. Our community, parents, and teachers remain our strongest pillars.

Oriwo Boys High School was founded in 1968, initially as a harambee school. The Government took over in 1974, and the school has been a public county institution since then โ serving the Rachuonyo North community for over 56 years.
Oriwo Boys consistently delivers strong KCSE performances. In the 2021 KCSE, the school achieved a mean grade of B minus (8.215), with 10 students scoring A minus. Out of 549 candidates, 521 (95.1%) attained the university admission grade of C+ or above.
